Come & Try it Mini Camp
During the midterm break we hosted a Mini-Camp for both boys and girls. It was another huge success with loads of children from the ages of 4-8 all taking part. Thanks to all those coaches who gave up their time to help run the camp and to all the parents for your help and support too.New Arrival
Congratulations to Kenny Stafford and Michelle Murtagh on the birth of your little girl Casey over the duration of last week. Staffai your definitely on course for your target of 9 kids before your 40!!
Last Man Standing
A new “Last Man Standing” competition will be starting in two weeks time. Anyone interested, please leave your name and money behind the bar in the club. Please contact Tina Gleeson for more information.Club AGM
The Mount Sion AGM will be held on SUNDAY 4th December in the club at 3pm and not Saturday as previously said. We hope to see ye all there! Official notice will be sent by Club Secretary Seamie Cleere, in the coming few days.
Camogie AGM
The Mount Sion Camogie AGM will take place on Wednesday 9th November at 7pm in the club. All interested parties and club members are asked to attend.
Club Mass
The Annual Club Mass for our deceased members will take place on Thursday 10th November at 8pm in Mount Sion Chapel. Tea and light refreshments will follow in the monastery after.Poker League
The Poker League is nearly into the final few nights. It runs on Wednesday nights. Registration is at 8:30pm and it starts at 8:45pm. Again Ricky Freeman extends his lead to 7 points with Kenny Stafford hot on his tail. Five more weeks left in the league, the next couple of weeks are going to be all to play for. The top 8 will automatically qualify for the final table in December. There will also be a one off freeze-out €15 euro game for people who don’t make the top 8 and who have played more than 6 games in the league. The top 2 places will win a ticket to the final table, making a final table of 10. All the weekly league scores and overall leader board are on the website. The girls will continue to train on Saturday mornings at 12noon to 1pm If you know of any girls who would like to take up camogie as a new activity why not bring them along next Saturday. All activities are free of charge and hurleys and helmets can be supplied for those who don’t have them.The Interview Room

Chess club takes place every Tuesday night in the club at 9:30pm. We hope to see the regular faces and some new ones up next Tuesday.Darts & Cards
Darts and Cards for club members. Come along and join in the fun. Darts takes place every Thursday night with Cards on Friday nights, both starting around 10pm. Great prizes on offer!! All Club Members are welcome.Training Times
Here are the training times for next Saturday. New players are always welcome and hurleys and helmets can be supplied to those who don’t have any. Also please note training is free of charge and parents are more than welcome to come along and watch.9 & 10 year olds (born in 2001 & 2002). – 10.30am to 12 noon. Coached by Damien Frisby, Roy McGrath Seamus Nolan, Shane O Grady and George O Grady.
5 & 6 year old (born in 2005 & 2006) – 12 noon to 1pm. Coached by Peter Walsh, Lindsay Grace, James Dunphy and Martin Walsh.
7 & 8 year olds (born in 2003 & 2004) – 1pm-2pm. Coached by Nicky Mackey, John O Keeffe, Michael Frisby and Eric Curran.
