Q4. When and where did you first play hurling (who was your coach, friend etc.) Earliest Memory is playing hurling for Mount Sion School in the yard and in the field. Denny Douglas from Gracedieu was our coach and Pat O’Grady was my best friend.
Q5. Childhood heroes: My Father Paddy Greene AKA Pa Pa, Martin Óg Morrissey and Tom Cheasty.

Q10. What is your Favourite Holiday Destination? Cruising the Shannon.
Q11. Best sporting event Watched/Witnessed: All Ireland Finals.
Q12. Best Mount Sion memory? Dressing Room at half time in 2002 Munster Club Final in Thurles. Passion/Determination & Spirit of Mount Sion was unbelievable!!!
Q13. What has been your greatest moment in sport? Winning a Senior Club Hurling County Medal in 1988 on the same team as my son Brian – His first and my last!
Q14. What is your favourite Hurling ground? Walsh Park!
Q15. What celebrity do you think you most look like and why? Jim Greene – I’m the image of him!!!
Q16. What was the toughest part of your sporting life? Not being a player anymore. Also the minor All Ireland Defeat in 1992 when I was their Manager and the day in 2002 when we were beaten by Dunloy and Larry Quinn’s demise at the club that night.
Q17. Least memorable game and why? Munster Finals 1982 & 1983 when we were beaten by Cork!
Q18. If you were an animal, what kind would you be? A Lion – I’m King of the Jungle!!
Q19. In your opinion what is the worst invention ever created? Why? WORK!!
Q20. What is your secret skill? Carpentry!
Q21. Who is your ideal date, why? A good listen because it’s hard to get a word in when I start!!
Q22. If there was a transfer market, what player would you like to see on the Waterford Panel? Why? Tommy Walsh – Kilkenny – Best hurler in the Country.
Q23. If you had 3 people around for dinner, who would they be and why? Mohammad Ali – Always loved his arrogance & skill; Roy Keane – Great attitude and my wife Theresa to cook it!!
Q24. Who is the best & worst dressed on your team, why? Pat O’Grady in his suirts from Sloanes was the best. The rest of us were a scruffy bunch!!
Q25. If you could go back in time, where would you go? Ancient Ireland to Challenge Cuchullan and Win!!
Q26. If you could trade places with any other person for a week, famous or not famous, living or dead, real or fictional. with whom would it be? Why? Captain James T Kirk on the Starship Enterprise to “Boldly go where no man has gone before”!!
Q27. What rule would you change in the GAA and why? The Anti Tackling Rules they are making the game too soft!!
Q28. Who do you admire most in Mount Sion, why? Seamus Power who has devoted his whole life to Mount Sion – both as a player and club official.
Q29. Advise to younger players….Listen, respect your mentors, learn the skills properly, have pride in your club & county and enjoy our wonderful game!!!
