On behalf of the club I would like to wish all our members, followers and fans a very Merry Christmas. Especially to all those who are in foreign lands in Australia, New Zealand, South Korea and elsewhere who won’t be celebrating Christmas with their families at home. We look forward to seeing ye all when ye return.
Poker League
As you know Ian Galgey won out the Poker League. He took an early lead and never gave up that lead. Mark Flanagan was first out, followed by Peter Penkert and Alan Brett. One person never turned up so there was only nine at the final table. Kenny Stafford was next out in sixth, followed by Derek English. Richie Roche came forth, Ricky Freeman third and Wayne Ryan second and Ian Galgey took the crown as champion on a final hand of pocket 10’s. We’ll be starting it back up again around the end of January. Keep an eye on the website and on the notes for new start dates.
