Q3. Club Honours: Under 13 A hurling and football, Under 14 Eastern, Minor Hurling, 2 Minor Football, Senior League and 3 Junior East Football.
Q4. When and where did you first play hurling (who was your coach, friend etc.) The school yard of a Saturday morning with the great Jossie Malone!!
Q5. Childhood heroes: Joe Dean, Michael Owen and as much as I hate to say this Eoin McGrath haha
Q6. Your Biggest Fear? Snakes and paranormal activity 1, 2 and 3!!
Q7. What is your Favourite Food? Roast chicken
Q8. What is your Favourite Film? The Patriot, Braveheart and The Hangover.
Q9. What is your Favourite Music? Paolo Nuitini, and a bit of Irish music here and there.
Q10. What is your Favourite Holiday Destination? Ibiza, what a place!!
Q11. Best sporting event Watched/Witnessed: Munster club 2002, the only thing went wrong that day was Diego Forlan done Liverpool!!
Q12. Best Mount Sion memory? The dinner dance for our minor hurling victory, Trigger Moose and Roy showed us how to celebrate that night!
Q13. What has been your greatest moment in sport? Winning the Munster Minor Hurling title in 2009 with Waterford, I’ll never ever forget the feeling doing our lap of honour in front of a sea of blue and white!
Q14. What is your favourite Hurling ground? Semple Stadium, Thurles.
Q15. What celebrity do you think you most look like and why? Dustin the turkey, although Shapo Ryan will tell you Robbie Keane!!
Q16. What is the toughest part of your sporting life? Having to leave my iPhone behind me while we train and play.
Q17. Least memorable game and why? County quarter final this year, because we certainly left one behind us this year.
Q18. If you were an animal, what kind would you be? A horse, because I wouldn’t mind Hayley Turner up on me!
Q19. In your opinion what is the worst invention ever created? Why? Gambling because it has me in the bin 6 days out of 7!!
Q20. What is your secret skill? There is no one in the town that would cook an omelette like me!!
Q21. Who is your ideal date, why? Samara Weaving out of home and away, OMG what I’d give to be Romeo!
Q22. If there was a transfer market, what player would you like to see on the Waterford Panel? Why? Canning doesn’t work hard enough so probably Liam Rush – he is young hard working and definitely going to be one of the greats
Q23. If you had 3 people around for dinner, who would they be and why? Samara Weaving, Luis Suarez and Richie Burke just to see what he would say to them haha
Q24. Who is the best & worst dressed on your team, why? Best dressed has to be uncle Mick and worst dressed would be a toss-up between Kinger and The Cat!
Q25. Who is the longest in the showers after training? Eoin Mc without a doubt
Q26. If you could go back in time, where would you go? Easter rising to stop Collins from been shot!
Q27. If you could trade places with any other person for a week, famous or not famous, living or dead, real or fictional with whom would it be? Why? It would have to be a soccer player, probably Gerrard he has it all going for him!
Q28. What rule would you change in the GAA and why? 2 points for a sideline, Dee would be buzzing!
Q29. Who do you admire most in Mount Sion, why? Davy Carroll for all the hard work he put in and all the grief he put up with mostly off us of a Sunday haha
Q30. Advise to younger players…. Train hard, play hard, always listen to your elders because they have been there and wore the jersey and never forget what jersey you’re wearing!
Q31. In ten years time, I hope to be ……… Still playing senior hurling with Mount Sion and hopefully with Waterford, as well as the obvious healthy, working and married with a family.
