Q4. When and where did you first play hurling (who was your coach, friend etc.) In the brothers field with the late great Larry Quinn, John Quinn, Christy Ryan and Jim O’Connor.
Q5. Childhood heroes: Roy Keane and Ken McGrath.
Q6. Your Biggest Fear? Going into the Jack’s after the Bomb Power! HELL!!
Q7. What is your Favourite Food? Anything me Mammy has on a Sunday!
Q8. What is your Favourite Film? Wizard of Oz.
Q9. What is your Favourite Music? Classic Eurovision songs.
Q10. What is your Favourite Holiday Destination? Boatstrand/Portugal.
Q11. Best sporting event Watched/Witnessed: Munster Club Final in 2002.
Q12. Best Mount Sion memory? Winning Munster Club and winning minor championships with the lads I grew up with.
Q13. What has been your greatest moment in sport? Getting the best goal ever in minor County Final. They found the net down in the Power’s garden in Lisduggan.
Q14. What is your favourite Hurling ground? Thurles
Q15. What celebrity do you think you most look like and why? Phil Taylor – cause he don’t shoot blanks either!
Q16. What is the toughest part of your sporting life? Going training when you’re on the night-shift and trying to organise holidays around matches.
Q17. Least memorable game and why? Under 21 County Final v Tallow in 2002. Its only county final we didn’t win as a group.
Q18. If you were an animal, what kind would you be? A pig – Cause I’m told I’m as ignorant as one!
Q19. In your opinion what is the worst invention ever created? Why? 3 shifts – cause whoever came up with the idea never done it.
Q20. What is your secret skill? Being able to get money out of Fionn O’Brien’s wallet, near on impossible!!
Q21. Who is your ideal date, why? Rhianna – I’d like to know is she a natural Red Head!
Q22. If you had 3 people around for dinner, who would they be and why? Sir Alex Ferguson, Brian Coady & A.P. McCoy, just to see what gives them that drive and desire for all those years.
Q23. Who is the best & worst dressed on your team, why? Best would be Carl “Mr. Primark” Cunningham and the worst without a shadow a doubt is Mick “Tan Lines” Frisby!!
Q24. Who is the longest in the showers after training? Pappy Bowe it takes him ages to get the suds out of his vest!
Q25. If you could go back in time, where would you go? Back to last Friday morning cause I’d know the Euro-Millions lotto numbers.
Q26. If you could trade places with any other person for a week, famous or not famous, living or dead, real or fictional. with whom would it be? Why? Any of the lads that are getting a chance to play in Junior Hurling & Football County Finals.
Q27. What rule would you change in the GAA and why? That umpires should be qualified referees too not just the ref’s Pals.
Q28. Who do you admire most in Mount Sion, why? Anyone that gives everything to the club be it playing, coaching or on the administration side.
Q29. Advise to younger players…. Listen to your coaches, work hard, give everything and have no regrets!
Q30. In ten years time, I hope to be ……… Healthy, happy and actively involved with the club. And winning a minor championship with the current Under 8’s. Little dream team!!
