Mount Sion Gaa Club Notes
Ballyduff Upper Tournament
Our Under 10s took the long travel to Ballyduff last Saturday to play the Semi-Final of their annual tournament against De La Salle. Our boys showed some great skill, determination and took our scores very well and emerged victorious with several points to spare over our near neighbours, this set up a final with Lismore. Again our lads produced a brilliant display all through this game and were deserving of a five point lead with a minute left on the clock. What can only be described as shocking decisions by the referee in that final minute cost us dearly and we lost by one point. This is no reflection on our lads who were flawless throughout the game. Well done lads, were all proud of ye and ye have another long trip to Newtownshandrum next Saturday. Best of luck lads!! The panel for the day: Timmy Sobowali, Ben Frisby, Peter Nolan, Kieran Hanrahan, Sean Doocey, Craig O’Neill, Dylan Butler, Scott Ryan, Jamie Gleeson, Jack Byrne, Stephen Finn, Ronan Quinn and Cormac O’Danza.Wedding Bells
