Mount Sion Gaa Club Notes

Deise Draw

A big congratulations to Nicholas and Emer Mackey on their win in the Deise Draw. They scooped the jackpot €10,000 in the October Draw. Great to have another €10,000 winner. That is two top winners in four months!! The last Deise Draw of the year takes place on 30th November. It is not late to purchase a Deise Draw ticket. Tickets can be bought from any of the promoters or from behind the bar. Please have your money in before the draw. A list of all promoters names can be seen on the notice board in the club. Tickets are €10 per draw.

Club Mass

The annual club mass for its deceased members will take place in the Edmund Rice Chapel on Thursday November 8th at 8pm. All are welcome to attend.

Last Man Standing

No Premier League last weekend with the International break. Updated last man standing table is up on the website! Not many left! Get your team into Tina by next Thursday night at the latest. Juvenile Training Times

The following are the times and venues are for juvenile hurling training:

5 to 7 year olds Children born in 2005, 2006 & 2007 takes place at 12 Noon every Saturday on the All-Weather Astro-Turf Pitch at the Club Grounds.

Juvenile Camogie Training also takes place on Saturdays at 12 noon on The All-Weather Astro-Turf Pitch at the Club Grounds.

8 & 9 year olds, Boys born in 2003 and 2004 takes place from 11am-12pm on Saturdays at the Club field.

10 & 11 year old boys takes place on a Tuesday nights at 6pm-7:15pm on the pitch.

Looking to get your child involved in sport or meet new friends. Then bring them along to the correct age group or contact Juvenile Chairman Peter Walsh for more information. Training is 100% free and hurleys and helmets can be supplied to those who need them. Best of luck to all the children and coaches for 2012!!

Darts & Cards

Darts and Cards for club members. Come along and join in the fun. Darts takes place every Thursday night with Cards on Friday nights, both starting around 10pm. Great prizes on offer!! All Club Members are welcome.
