Best wishes to Brian Flannery who announced this week that he has hung up his boots after a long and successful career in the blue and white colours. Flan has been involved with the club ever since his move from his native Co. Tipperary in the early nineties. A torn in any forwards side, he has claimed numerous honours including six County Senior Hurling, Munster club, two Under 21, All Ireland 7s, Junior Hurling & Football and a Munster Championship with Waterford when they made the breakthrough in 2002. And in his Tipp days he won an All Ireland with Tipperary at Under 21 level. A great servant of Sion, both on and off the field. We would like to wish you all the best on becoming a hurler on the ditch.Season Ticket
