Juvenile AGM
The Juvenile AGM took place last Thursday night with a large gathering of mentors and officers all in attendance. Juvenile Chairman, Peter Walsh opened by welcoming everyone and asked Club Chairman to say a few words. In his short speech he commended the hard work being done at Juvenile level. Secretary Tina Gleeson gave a good account of all matches during the year. The following were successfully elected as Officers of the Juvenile Club for 2013: Chairman: – Peter Walsh, Vice Chairman: – Michael Flanagan, Secretary: – Tina Gleeson, Treasurer: – Tom Power, PRO: – Owen Sauvage, Equipment Officer: – Niall Walsh. Last Tuesday we held our Juvenile Presentation of Medals for the Under 10-16s. Medals were presented on the night by Ken McGrath, John McArdle and Sean O’Dwyer. Players who represented Waterford were presented with a special memento. The following were our Player of the Years: Under 14 – Michael Flynn, Under 15 Dylan Sheridan and Under 16 William Ormond. William also picked up the Mick Healy Award for the overall player of the year. Under 16 Manager Eoin Fanning had some great words about the lads. Well done to all our winners and thanks to everyone who turned up on the night.Christmas Raffle

Can anyone who would like to order any of the below Season Tickets, please contact club secretary Seamus Cleere by this Monday 10th December. Limited number of season tickets available. There are a number of options available to suit the needs of all supporters at excellent value. The four options available are as follows:1). The Club Season Ticket will allow you into all club games in Waterford in both hurling and football (Minor – Senior) including County Finals for €85.
2). A Senior Citizen option with the same benefits for a price of €50.
3). Club and County Season Ticket which includes Waterford GAA Club Season Ticket for reduced price of €75 as an add on to the GAA Season Ticket purchased on www.gaa.ie. This would include admission to all Allianz League games in your selected code i.e. Hurling or Football and first round of championship tickets in code of choice and all Waterford club games as outlined above.
4). The Priomh Port Lairge option. This includes two Waterford GAA club season tickets and option of buying two All Ireland Football & Hurling tickets. The price of this option is €500.

The Edmund Rice Centre are holding a Christmas Charity Concert staring Cara O’Sullivan on Friday December 14th at 7:30pm in The Cathedral of The Most Holy Trinity. Tickets are €20. The following are the times and venues are for juvenile hurling training:
5 to 7 year olds Children born in 2005, 2006 & 2007 takes place at 12 Noon every Saturday on the All-Weather Astro-Turf Pitch at the Club Grounds.
Juvenile Camogie Training also takes place on Saturdays at 12 noon on The All-Weather Astro-Turf Pitch at the Club Grounds.
8 & 9 year olds, Boys born in 2003 and 2004 takes place from 11am-12pm on Saturdays at the Club field.
10 & 11 year old boys takes place on a Tuesday nights at 6pm-7:15pm on the pitch.
Looking to get your child involved in sport or meet new friends. Then bring them along to the correct age group or contact Juvenile Chairman Peter Walsh for more information. Training is 100% free and hurleys and helmets can be supplied to those who need them. Best of luck to all the children and coaches for 2012!!
