Mount Sion Gaa Club Notes

Christmas Raffle

Last Sunday we held our big Christmas Raffle in the club. We had a big crowd there with live music on the day from A Bag of Spuds. A big thank you to all who supported our club fundraiser by either buying or selling tickets and to those who donated prizes. There was a good spread over the winners and the following were our prize winners: 1) – Tommy Cusack, 2) – Anthony Barden, 3) – John Finn, 4) – Martina Tobin, 5) – Jim McCarthy, 6) – Owen O’Connor, 7) – Niall Crotty, 8 ) – Brian Flannery, 9) – Vikki Hammond, 10) – Nicky O’Regan. Deise Draw

Our Annual internal Deise Draw was also held on Sunday last in conjunction with our Christmas Raffle. This is our way to thank all those who supported the club by contribution in the form of purchasing Deise Draw tickets over the year. The following won €50 Meat Vouchers: Pappy Bowe, William McGrath c/o Frankie Quinn, Michael Phelan, Garry Cunningham and David Thornton. Once again, thank you to all those who purchased Deise Draw tickets through-out the year.

Club AGM

The AGM of Cnoc Síon will take place on Saturday 12th January at 5pm in the club. The members have a chance to voice their opinions on the year past and select the incoming Executive Committee, Team management/captains and put forward motions for the coming year. We look forward to seeing you all there on the day.

Annual Stephen’s Day Quiz

The Annual Gents Quiz will take place on Stephen’s Day at 4pm. Looking forward to seeing you all there.

Last Man Standing

Darts & Cards

Darts and Cards for club members. Come along and join in the fun. Darts takes place every Thursday night with Cards on Friday nights, both starting around 10pm. Great prizes on offer!! All Club Members are welcome.
