Last Man Standing
The next Last Man Standing Competition will begin on February 2nd/3rd. Please have your entry money paid into the bar by Wednesday 30th January. €10 for adults and €5 for Under 16s. Activation of the 2013 Waterford GAA Club Season passes shall commence on Monday 28th January and continue until the end of February. Season Ticket holders should present themselves with the Personal Details section of the Season Ticket leaflet completed and the Season Ticket card to either Fraher Field or Walsh Park. Days and times for each venue are below, no appointment is necessary. A digital image of the Season Ticket Holder shall be taken during the activation process. Please note that it will also be possible to purchase Club Season Tickets during the activation times below. Walsh Park County Office: Every Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday 10am – 12.30pm and Wednesday evenings 5pm – 7pm. Waterford United Stars V Waterford Hurling Legends in aid of the Save Ryan and Ethan Appeal (www.saveryanandethan.com).On Saturday 2nd February a Waterford United Stars (plus guests) team will play a Waterford Hurling Legends (plus guests) team in a soccer match at the RSC Waterford with a 7 pm kick off.
All funds raised on what promises to be a fantastic evening of entertainment will be given directly to the appeal and a number of local (and national) stars have already confirmed their attendance – Paul McGrath, Alan Reynolds and David Breen for the Blues and Ken McGrath, John Mullane, Dan Shanahan and Paul Flynn for the Deise Hurlers with many more set to follow in their footsteps.
It is just €5 in on the gate, so bring all the kids along to see the best of both the GAA and Soccer stars do battle for the bragging rights and help out two local boys in the process!
Juvenile Training
The following are the times for our Juvenile team’s training on Saturday morning in the club. New comers are always welcome and hurley’s and helmets can be supplied.Ages and times below
Age 5 & 6 – Boys (Born in 2008 and 2007) – 11 am to 12 noon
Age 7 & 8 – Boys (Born in 2006 and 2005) – 12 noon to 1pm
Age 9 & 10 – Boys (Born in 2004 and 2003) – 1pm to 2pm (note change of time for this group )
