Under 8 Hurling
The Under 8s were in action last Saturday morning in a hurling blitz in Ballygunner. There were some great performances as we won five out of the six games accounting for Sacred Heart, Ballygunner X, Passage X, De La Salle X and Ballygunner Y teams. Well done to all. The panel for the games were: Alex Walsh, Lee Flanagan, Davin Marshall, Tommy Walsh, Dylan Ryan, Shane Ryan, Jared O’Keeffe, Killian Dundon, Jack Barrett, Harry Colbert, Cormac Dunphy, Ross Byrne, Adam Regan and Conor Walsh. We will be hosting the WLRfm Radio Fun Quiz in aid of the Waterford County Teams Training Funds on Thursday 21st February at 8:30pm sharp. Teams of 3 or 4, €10 per person. There will be prizes for the winning table on the night, along with a place in the final a week later, with prizes of Azzurri! Looking forward to seen all of you then. The club would like to offer its sincere condolences to Jackie Flanagan and family on the loss of her mother Kitty, who passed away during the week. Also during the week, Waterford was hit with the sudden passing of the well known scribe John A. Murphy. Our thoughts are with both families at this time.Ar dheis Dé go raibh Siad.

The following are the times for our Juvenile team’s training on Saturday morning in the club. New comers are always welcome and hurley’s and helmets can be supplied.Ages and times below
Age 5 & 6 – Boys (Born in 2008 and 2007) – 11 am to 12 noon
Age 7 & 8 – Boys (Born in 2006 and 2005) – 12 noon to 1pm
Age 9 & 10 – Boys (Born in 2004 and 2003) – 1pm to 2pm (note change of time for this group )
