Tony Forristal Tournament
This year’s Tony Forristal and Sonny Walsh tournaments took place on Saturday last and as usual a feast of hurling was served up in venues all over the city with Waterford A playing their games in the club, also over the day we had a number of players involved in the various Development squads –Under 14 Tony Forristal – Alan Kirwan, Charlie Costello

Under 15 – Johnny Flynn, Conor Quinn, James Ogundare, Louie Halligan,
Under 16 – Ben Flanagan, Jordan Hutchinson
Well done to all the young lads who represented the club at county level on the day.

Well done to the Under 16s who travelled to Cappoquin on Monday night and recorded an impressive seven point win, great result for the lads and their mentors going into their game against De La Salle next week.Senior Hurling
The draws for the Quarter Finals of the Senior Championship took place last week and Sion have been pitted against Abbeyside in Walsh Park on September 14th at 2pm, best wishes to the team and mentors.Deise Draw
August’s Deise Draw took place in St Mollerans on Friday night and unfortunately we had no winners. Tickets are still available for the next draws from Josie Evans or from the bar. Please contact Josie Evans (087-0686700) to join and more importantly to make sure you are in with a chance to scoop the top prize of €10,000!!! . Tickets are €10 per month for nine months.
