Mount Sion GAA Club Notes
County Final
Sunday saw Sion take part in their first senior County final in eight years against old rivals Ballygunnner in Walsh Park in front of a crowd of over three thousand, after all the anticipation the match itself was a disappointment as Sion struggled to get to grips with a very strong Ballygunner team who scored two goals in the first half to keep a five point lead at the break. In the second half it was much the same story and Ballygunner ran out winners in the end, well done to Ballygunner and beat wishes in the Munster Club, although this was a disappointing end to the season Anthony and the lads can take many positives from this years Championship and will already be thinking ahead to next year.Under 16s
Our Under 16s bowed out of the Championship on Thursday last when they came up against a very strong De La Salle side in Carriganore, this group of lads and their mentors deserve great credit credit for their performances this year.Waterford 1100 Monthly Talks
