Mount Sion GAA Club Notes

GAA Awards Night

We had two entrants in the WLR Granville Hotel GAA awards on Saturday night last, May’s winner Austin Gleeson and September’s winner Martin O Neill who both picked up their monthly awards on the night, well done to the overall winner Conor Gleeson and to all the other monthly winners, it capped a busy week for the lads with Martin graduating from W.I.T. and Austin being named in the list of Ireland’s top 20 young people under 20 !

Coffee Doc

Best wishes to Mr Mean Bean himself Eoin McGrath and partner Evelyn who open their new coffee shop “Coffee Doc’ in the Waterford Health Park on Monday , all the best in the new venture lads !

Baby Girl

Congratulations to Michelle Murtagh and Kenny Stafford on the birth of their fourth daughter Quin recently, both mother and baby are doing well and Quin’s big sisters are delighted with the new arrival!

Last Man Standing

Last Man Standing returns next weekend and as usual the same rules  and entry fee apply,  please leave your name and money behind the bar or with Tina on 087 9479741 before Thursday , table will be updated weekly on the website and best of luck to everyone for the new game!

Waterford GAA Club Season Ticket

Waterford GAA Club Season Tickets are now on sale. Tickets for 2015 are priced at €100 for Adults and €65 for Senior Citizens.

New Tickets and 2014 renewals can be purchased from Ger Wyley Sports in Dungarvan and Elvery’s Sports in Waterford City

Activation of new tickets and renewals shall take place during late January 2015, please visit www.waterfordgaa.ie for renewal venues and dates which shall be advertised locally in early January and through all Waterford GAA Clubs.

Darts & Cards

Darts and Cards for club members. Come along and join in the fun. Darts takes place every Thursday night with Cards on Friday nights, both starting around 10pm. Great prizes on offer!! All Club Members are welcome.
