Mount Sion GAA Club Notes

Junior Hurling

A familiar face returns to the sidelines for Mount Sion as the legend that is Jim Greene has agreed to manage the Junior Hurling team for the 2015 season, Jim will be ably assisted in the job by two Junior stalwarts Patrick “Pappy” Bowe and Clive “Parish” Power, we wish the lads all the best for the coming year.

St Saviours

All in Mount Sion were shocked and saddened at the burning down of the St Saviours Clubhouse on Saturday morning last but knowing the club and the community they won’t let this set them back and will be up and running again for the new season.

Condolences

Condolences to Fintan O Shea and family on the death of his father  Mikey recently , ar Dheis De go raibh a anam.

Last Man Standing

No Last Man Standing this week due to the FA Cup and it returns next weekend, don’t forget to have your team in with Tina on 087 9479741 on or before Thursday .

Waterford GAA Club Season Ticket

Waterford GAA Club Season Tickets are now on sale. Tickets for 2015 are priced at €100 for Adults and €65 for Senior Citizens.

New Tickets and 2014 renewals can be purchased from Ger Wyley Sports in Dungarvan and Elvery’s Sports in Waterford City

Activation of new tickets and renewals shall take place during late January 2015, please visit www.waterfordgaa.ie for renewal venues and dates which shall be advertised locally in early January and through all Waterford GAA Clubs.

Super Games Centre Carriganore

The Super Games Centre is up and running again on Friday nights and is very well attended. This is open to boys 12-16 who wish to come along and play Hurling games. There is no cost to play just come along with your boots and gear. The action runs from 6-7pm in Carriganore

Darts & Cards

Darts and Cards for everyone. Come along and join in the fun. Darts takes place every Thursday night with Cards on Friday nights, both starting around 10pm. Great prizes on offer!! All are welcome both members and non-members !
