Mount Sion GAA Club Notes

Under 11s

The U11’s played their first game in the blitz in Carriganore on Friday night last getting off to a good start with a very good win over Tramore, all players showed great determination in their first match back after the winter break, panel on the night was Evan Mackey, Dylan Ryan, Jack Cowman, Davin Marshall,  Jamie Meaney, Conor Walsh, Scott Ryan, Hugh Flanagan, Adam Deegan, Daniel Butler and Lee Flanagan.

Get Well Soon

Get well soon to one of our young players P.J. Fanning who had his appendix taken out during the week, no doubt P.J. can’t wait to get back in action as soon as possible.

National League

Waterford Senior Hurlers got their first National League campaign victory on Saturday night last with a comprehensive win over Laois in Fraher Field, well done to Austin Gleeson who scored two points, next game is away to Offaly which should prove a sterner test.

Last Man Standing

Last Man Standing returned this week and it was another week of exits with only six players left after Chelsea’s draw against Burnley, don’t forget to have your team into Tina by Thursday and the updated table can be checked on the website !

Membership

Its that time of the year again and annual subscriptions are now due for the 2015 season , fees can be paid behind the bar as usual and need to be sent in as soon as possible, all membership rates are available on the membership page on the club website or you can contact Club Registrar Paul Fanning .

Deise Draw

The 2015 Deise Draw is only around the corner! Support your club and be in a chance to win 10K and loads of other prizes! More details to come in the following weeks !

Darts & Cards

Darts and Cards for everyone. Come along and join in the fun. Darts takes place every Thursday night with Cards on Friday nights, both starting around 10pm. Great prizes on offer!! All are welcome both members and non-members !
