Fitzgibbon Cup
It was an eventful tournament for W.I.T. in this year’s Fitzgibbon cup culminating in the exciting drawn final against UL on Saturday night which brought the game to a replay , Sion had four players involved Martin O Neill, Stephen Roche, Stephen O Neill and Austin Gleeson who all played key roles in the tournament for the local college.Flag Day
The club’s annual Flag Days take place over the weekend of March 6th , 7th and 8th, this is one of the main fundraisers for the club for the year and if any members are available to sell flags please contact Michael Flanagan on 086 3583463.Under 11s
The Under 11s good run continued with a great win over De La Salle on Friday night under the lights in Carriganore making it 2 wins from 2. Panel on the night were Evan Mackey, Dylan Ryan, Davin Marshall, Jamie Meaney, Conor Walsh, Cormac Dunphy, Hugh Flanagan, Robbie Kelly, Adam Deegan, Scott Ryan, Daniel Butler and Lee Flanagan, well done lads keep up the good work.Condolences
Sincere condolences to the Hoban family on the death of Alice Hoban on Friday last, Alice’s grandsons Mark, Eric and Scott all play for the club, Ar Dheis De go raibh a h-anam.
Fixtures
After a number of cancellations the final of the 2014 Sargent Cup finally gets to take place next Sunday the 8th of March at 3pm against Lismore in Lismore, all support welcome for the first game of the season !Last Man Standing
Last Man Standing is down to the last six players and looks like its going to be a close one this time round, don’t forget to have your team into Tina by Thursday and the updated table can be checked on the website !Membership
We’re already into March and membership needs to be paid by the end of the month, thanks to everyone who has paid up so far, fees can be paid behind the bar as usual and need to be sent in as soon as possible, all membership rates are available on the membership page on the club website or you can contact Club Registrar Paul Fanning .Deise Draw
The first Deise Draw of 2015 takes place in a few weeks and tickets are available from Josie Evans or from behind the bar or any club member. Support your club and be in a chance to win 10K and loads of other prizes! More details to come in the following weeks !Waterford GAA Club Season Ticket
The 2015 Season Tickets activation and renewal is ongoing until 28th March.
All ticket holders should present themselves at one of these activation sessions as a digital image shall be taken regardless of whether you are a new or existing ticket holder.
Club season tickets shall also be available for purchase during these times. Prices are €100 for adults and €65 for OAPs.
Times for Renewal and Activations from Thursday 19th Feb!
Walsh Park – Every Thursday 3pm – 7pm.
Fraher Field – Every Friday 4pm – 6:30pm and every Saturday 10:30am – 12:30pm.
