Mount Sion GAA Club Notes
Intermediate Football
It was another disappointing night for the Intermediate Footballers as they lost out to Newtown on Friday night in the third round of the championship, Sion started out well with scores from Ian Power and football specialist Lee Douglas on free taking duties which left them going into the break down by a single point, the second half saw Newtown gain the advantage and soon the game got away from Sion to leave the scoreline 0-005 to 2-11 in the opposition’s favour, the last game in the group against Bunmahon will be arranged at a later date.Under 12’s
