Well done to Timi Sobowale and Evan McGrath who were presented with their Man of the Match awards for their performances in the Under 14 and 16 County finals at a ceremony held by the County Bord na nOg in Stradbally last week.
Engagement
Congratulations to Owen “Savo” Sauvage and Amy O’Sullivan who announced their engagement during the week, best wishes to the happy couple from everyone in the club.
Under 21
Unfortunately the bad weather caused the Under 21 Eastern Final against De La Salle to be postponed again last Saturday, the fixture probably won’t go ahead now until the New Year.
Christmas Raffle and Club Draw
By now everyone will have received their tickets for the Christmas Raffle which takes place on 20th December in the club and we would hope they’ll all come back sold ! On the night also the club will be running a draw for Deise Draw members with guaranteed Mount Sion winners. Entry is ten euro with half of the amount collected going back in prize money. If you’ve paid in full for nine Deise Draws you’ll be automatically put into this draw. Those who are members of the Deise Draw for four draws or more can purchase a ticket for this draw. Thanks to all those who supported the fundraiser during the year and to Josie for all her hard work organising it for us.
New Year’s Eve Gala Night
The New Year’s Gala night is fast approaching and if you have booked tickets please could you make sure they’re paid for by the 16th December, any enquiries about the night can be made behind the bar.

It’s looking like we could finally have a winner before Christmas in what must be the longest running Last Man Standing yet! Check out the updated table on the website and don’t forget to have your team into Tina before Thursday.
