Mount Sion GAA Club Notes
Michael Cleere
There was sad news last weekend when another great Mount Sion man Mick Cleere was called to his eternal reward, Mick was a lifelong Mount Sion man who played on the winning Minor County Championship side in 1955, from then on he played most of his hurling at Junior level before going on to serve on various comiittees and as selector on many grades including Senior down through the years, Mick passed on his love and committment to the club to his family with both sons Seamie and John going on to serve the club with distinction both on and off the field, his family’s sad loss will be felt by the wider Mount Sion community and our thoughts are with Chrissie, Seamie, Siobhan and John and their families at this sad time, ar Dheis De go raibh a anam.Know Your Sport
