The 2017 Annual General Meeting of the club took place on Sunday last and despite the weather conditions the usual large crowd of members gathered to discuss the year both on and off the field, some lively discussions took place before the nominations took place including the Executive Committee and officers which stayed the same for 2018, the various Player of the Year awards were also given out on the day before the meeting concluded as is tradition with the singing of Amhran na Bfiann, thanks to everyone who attended on the day and we look forward to seeing everyone again in 2018Executive Committee 2018

Also at the A.G.M. John Meaney was ratified as the new Senior manager for 2018, John has a wealth of experience coaching under age teams in the club and we are delighted to see him take the step up to managing the Senior Hurlers, John will be ably assisted by Darren Ryan, Eoin McGrath and Roy McGrath with Jimmy Payne as fitness and conditioning coach, best wishes to all the lads for the year ahead.New Years Eve
New Years Eve promises to be a great night in the club with The Jam Tarts providing the music to play us into 2018, tickets are now avialbale from Tina or behind the bar, why not see in the new year with family and friends in a safe atmosphere and also support your club in the process.
Charity Swim
The annual Billy Galgey Memorial Christmas Day swim takes place this year at 11.15 am from the slip in Tramore, all members are welcome to take part in this fun event and help raise some funds for the juvenile club, Sponsorship cards are available from Paul Galgey who will also be rounding up some hardy souls to take the plunge on Christmas morning !Mount Sion Clubhouse
Our club house is the perfect venue for all your needs. If you have a family event coming up we can cater for all size parties from small private events to large gatherings, we have a spacious function room with private bar available for hire for all occasions including Birthdays, Christenings, Weddings, Confirmations, Communions, etc, please contact our Bar Manager Michael Ryan for more information on 051-372648 or call up and see him For a post match drink or chat or to watch the latest sporting event on the big screen we have all the Sports channels available in our spacious bar where on Thursday nights it’s Darts night, on Fridays we have cards which are open to all and there are great prizes on offer, check out our website for more info and photos.Notes for Paper & Website
