20k Drop
Just over two weeks to our big 2018 fundraiser the 20k Drop on Feb 24th in the Tower Hotel. With the sponsors in place with huge thanks to our hard working committee the emphasis now is on ticket sales, please can we ask anyone who intends attending to purchase their tickets beforehand and not to leave it until the last day to secure them, we are also running a competition on the 20k facebook page giving away a family ticket for four, entries close on February 17th with the winner announced on Sunday 18th February.Tickets can be purchased behind the bar, from any committee member or by calling the ticket hotline on 0876161222.
A DJ and a late bar has been organised for after the show, so it promises to be a great night for the club and all its members.
National League
The National league resumes next Sunday and while the results haven’t gone Waterford’s way Kilkenny are in the same position and the game in Walsh Park promises to be a cracker, best wishes to all involved and don’t forget our club house and facilities will be available before and after the game for patrons to the game.Senior League
The Senior Hurling League fixtures have been announced with Sion playing their first game against De La Salle on March 19th, full fixtures will be posted on the events section of the website.
Ladies Football
Ladies football is back again for 2018, training takes place on the astroturf on Sundays 11-12 for all girls aged 13 and older! New players are most welcome and keep an eye on the usual social media outlets for details of games and other events!Camogie
Mount Sion Camogie coaching continues this week. 8-12 year olds 6-7 pm Mondays in the club hall downstairs in the club house, bring runners.4-7 year olds 6-7pm Wednesdays in the Carrickpherish sports hall cost €2.
