Mount Sion GAA Club Notes
Junior Football
The Junior Footballers got off to a winning start on Saturday last when they beat Butlerstown at home by a scoreline of 3-08 to 0-08, helped by a clinical performance in front of goal by Sean Ryan who scored 2-02 from play this team of experienced warriors and young guns played some scintillating football at times and should be a force to reckon with if they can keep up the committment and play to the same high standards as they did this week.Minor Football
It was a good week also for our Minor footballers who are going very well as they went to city neighbours and football specialists St. Saviours and proved the old adage that goals win matches by comprehensively beating the hosts on a scoreline of 7-05 to 2-06, the boys now take on St Oliver’s on Wednesday night in the club and a good support on the night would be very encouraging to all involved.Under 11 City League
Great excitement in Gracedieu on Thursday last as our Under 11’s narrowly beat De La Salle on a scoreline of 3-04 to 2-05, this young team have been progressing very well recently and are a credit to their coaches and families.New Arrival
