Under 21 Hurling Championship
Ballygunner 0-19
Sion dropped out of the Under 21 Championship in Mollerans on Wednesday last against a Ballygunner team who proved too strong an obstacle to overcome on the night, after a good start by Sion Ballygunner got a grip on the game and with some strong individual performances they were in control throughout with an Evan McGrath penalty coming too late in the game to make a difference, final score Cnoc Sion 1-09 Ballygunner 0-19, tough luck all round but this is a young team and they will be back competing again in 2019.
Club Mass
This Thursday night we have the annual club mass for deceased members taking place in the Edmund Rice Chapel at 7pm. We are appealing for all our club members to make an effort to come out and remember all those Mount Sion people who have gone before us and especially Joan Kelly, Mary Willmott, Paul Flanagan Snr, Seamus Frisby, Jimmy Shanahan who passed away in the last year. This is one club event which has been poorly attended in previous years and we would love to see as many club members and friends and family attending as possible.

Training for Under 8’s on Mondays in Carrickpherish Hall in Gracedieu 6-7pm
€2 per child or €3 per family
Training for Under 12’s on Tuesdays in Presentation School Hall 6-7pm
The Club camogie gear is now available to order instore at Azzurri, get your orders in soon as this could prove to be quite a popular stocking filler this year.
