Under 19 Hurling Championship
Cnoc Sion 1-15
Roanmore 1-18
Roanmore provided the opposition at a windy St. Saviour’s on Sunday morning last in the first competitive game in this new format, the first half was a competitive affair with Roanmore just edging it before a last minute goal from Sion brought the game back to two points, half time score Cnoc Sion 1-03 Roanmore 0-08, an exciting and eventful second half saw both sides in front for a while with neither being able to gain the upper hand and a draw at full time saw the game head into extra time, in extra time Sion couldn’t find a way through and Roanmore outscored them by three points to win the game , final score Cnoc Sion 1-15 Roanmore 1-18, they now go into the runners up group where they have another chance of progressing.Condolences
The club would like to extend it’s sympathy to the family of Mossy Cunningham who passed away suddenly during the week, our thoughts are with the Kennedy and Cunningham families at this sad time, ar dheis De go raibh a anam.
Camogie
Training as usual Mondays 6-7pm in Carrickpherish Hall for 4-10 group and Mount Sion grounds for the 11-16 group.Our Under 13 girls were beaten by a very strong Tallow on Saturday in the first round of the championship. They will play again on Saturday at 3.30pm in Mount Sion against Clonea.
The Under 8 & Under 10 girls play in a blitz in the WIT arena on Saturday morning next (25th) between 10-12. All support welcome.
We will be taking orders for the half zips until November 4th if anyone wants one, get in touch through the Camogie facebook page.
Health and Wellbeing
Coming up on Monday 2nd December – ‘Safe Talk’ course will take place, this is a training initiative around suicide prevention and mental health promotion and will be limited to 30 places. More details in the coming weeks.Bingo

The final night of circuit training takes place this Tuesday, there has been a very good response to this initiative and we hope to run more events like this in the future, to ensure your place please contact Michael “Pugs” Power, time 7pm -8pm, class is open to all over 18’s, cost €5Mount Sion Clubhouse
