Last Man Standing
Thanks to everyone who joined up to this year’s Last Man Standing fundraiser helping to make it the biggest one yet, it was a mixed bag of results this weekend with many people opting for Liverpool who didn’t disappoint as they relentlessly push for their first league title in thirty years while Newcastle couldn’t put away rock bottom Norwich to leave a lot of punters down. Mount Sion GAA & Camogie Club are delighted to be selected for Phase 4 of the Healthy Club Project initiative run by the GAA. The club was ably represented at the launch in Croke Park on Saturday last by our Health & Well-being Officer Michael Power, at the moment we are running Operation Transformation and Circuits and Michael and his committee will be rolling out more events over the rest of the year.Keep an eye on all the usual outlets.Operation Transformation
We are now coming into the final weeks of Operation Transformation for 2020 and numbers have been strong so far, let’s keep up the big effort and also raise much needed funds for Assissi House.Camogie
Camogie training is back on Mondays for the younger group (4-10) in Carrickpherish hall at 6pm. Finishing at 6-50pm to facilitate anyone going to Operation Transformation. €2 per child €3 per family and new members are always welcome. Huge thanks to ASTC (Joanne Flynn and Paul Meaney) for their sponsorship of the new Under 16 jerseys this season, we will have an official presentation of the new jerseys in the club in the coming weeks.
Hurling Academy
The Junior and Senior Infants hurling academy is now back running in the school on Saturday mornings at 10-30am, we have had a great turnout over the past few weeks and new players are always welcome.Membership
With Membership now due we would encourage Members to pay by Standing Order, €3 weekly or €12.50 monthly for Membership which includes a Deise Draw ticket @ €90.€8 weekly €32.50 monthly which gives €250 to the Development Tax Back Donation Scheme to fund Development.
With the dressing room refurbishment our big project tis year we wold encourage as many people as possible to join up in our development scheme.
€10 weekly or €44.33 monthly which gives €120 back to you at Xmas as savings.

Circuit Training

Our Ladies Footballers are back training in the Astroturf again on Fridays from 5-30 to 6-30pm, open to girls from 15 to Minor, new players are always welcome .Mount Sion Clubhouse
