Mount Sion GAA Club Notes

 

Camogie

Training for younger group (4-10) continues in Carrickpherish hall tomorrow (Monday) from 6-7pm  €2 per child or €3 per family.
The older girls are finally back training tomorrow also (Monday) in Mount Sion from 6-7pm.
We are doing a small order for half zips this week so if anyone wants one please contact the Camogie facebook page as soon as possible.
Lastly a huge Happy Birthday to our Under 14 coach Amy O’Sullivan.

Table Quiz

Don’t forget the Primary school are holding a table quiz in the club on Wednesday 19th April at 8-30pm with all money raised going to the school equipment fund, cost per team of four is €40 and all are welcome to what promises to be a fun night.

Last Man Standing

It’s back to normal this week after the winter break in the Premier League and we had a few players dropping out with the results not going their way, please make sure to have your team into Owen by 10pm on Thursday. Check out the page on the website for all the updated results. Last Man Standing

Operation Transformation

Operation Transformation is coming to an end soon and the weather over the past number of weeks hasn’t been too favourable for walking but well done to all the hardy souls who turned up.Registration at 7 and walk begins at 7-15 with proceeds going to Assissi House

Hurling Academy

The Junior and Senior Infants hurling academy is now back running in the school on Saturday mornings at 10-30am, thanks to all our former and current players who have turned up to help out with the coaching making it most enjoyable for our young players.

Membership

With Membership now due we would encourage Members to pay by Standing Order, €3 weekly or €12.50 monthly for Membership which includes a Deise Draw ticket @ €90.

€8 weekly €32.50 monthly which gives €250 to the Development Tax Back Donation Scheme to fund Development.

With the dressing room refurbishment our big project tis year we wold encourage as many people as possible to join up in our development scheme.

€10 weekly or €44.33 monthly which gives €120 back to you at Xmas as savings.

Circuit Training

Circuit training continues this Tuesday at 7pm in the clubhouse, over 18’s only, €5 fee. Please contact Michael Power to book your place.

Ladies Football

Our Ladies Footballers are back training in the Astroturf again on Fridays from 5-30 to 6-30pm, open to girls from 15 to Minor, new players are always welcome .

Mount Sion Clubhouse

Our club house is the perfect venue for all your needs. If you have a family event coming up we can cater for all size parties from small private events to large gatherings, we have a spacious function room with private bar available for hire for all occasions including Birthdays, Christenings, Weddings, Confirmations, Communions, etc, please contact our Bar Manager Michael Ryan for more information on 051-372648 or call up and see him.
