Mount Sion GAA Club Notes

Healthy Club

With a new round of restrictions about to be introduced the club are adhering to all relevant government and GAA guidelines regarding Covid 19, there might be very little activity going on in the club but our health and Wellbeing officer Michael Power has been busy with our new signs around the place, while we were unable to run the amount of events this year as soon as restrictions are lifted and things get back to normal Michael hopes that the club will be able to get back up and running with this very worthwhile programme, we would like to remind everyone that in these uncertain times there are many health and wellbeing resources available on the GAA website.

 

Condolences

The club wishes to extend its deepest sympathies to Mervyn Marshall and family on the sad passing during the week of his brother Alan, our thoughts are with the family at this difficult time, ar Dheis De go raibh a anam.

Camogie

Please see the camogie Facebook page regarding training as we await government guidelines regarding activities. Anyone who has ordered a customised mask needs to pay for them this week, contact the camogie facebook page for details please.

Deise Draw

 The third Deise Draw of 2020 took place during the week and unfortunately we had no winners this time around, tickets for the remaining draws are still available, please contact Kenny Stafford or any member of the executive.

Last Man Standing

No Last Man Standing returned this week with another set of strange results all round , check out the updated table on the website to see who’s left in the game, don’t forget to get your teams into Kenny before Friday.

Development

We would ask those that have not yet paid the annual membership of €150 which includes entry in to the Deise Draw to do so please.

We would ask as many members as possible to join the Development Donation scheme, at this current time our only revenue is the scheme and membership. Anyone wishing to pay membership or join the Donation Scheme please contact any committee member.
