Mount Sion GAA Club Notes

Christmas Food Collection

As part of the joint initiative from the Health Clubs project Mount Sion and Gaultier are designated as collection points for non perishable items which will be brought out to the Waterford Foodbank for distribution at Christmas, anyone can donate not just club members, please see poster for which foods can be donated, the collection days will be Saturday 28th November & Saturday 5th December with maybe a midweek date in between, please spread the word to help this worthy cause.

Training Times 

Our academy on Saturday mornings continues for our younger players, times are as follows

4-6 year olds…..10am

7 & 8s ……..11.15

9 &10s…….12.15

All guidelines are being strictly adhered to.

Congratulations 

Congratulations to one of the hardest working couples in the club Michelle and Kenny Stafford on the recent birth of their son Arlo, best wishes from all in Mount Sion.

Camogie

Training for the older girls continues Mondays 6-7 in the Astroturf. Please bring all own water bottles and don’t forget to complete the health questionnaire before coming up. The U15 group will train in Tuesday 6-7pm
Kate will be collecting any outstanding money for the club sets (€10) before training starts on Monday also.

Last Man Standing

Last man Standing coming down to the wire now with more players checking out this week, check out the updated table on the website to see who’s left in the game, don’t forget to get your teams into Kenny before Friday.

Deise Draw

 Unfortunately we had no winners in November’s Deise Draw on Wednesday night , tickets still available for the remaining draws of 2020, please contact Kenny Stafford or any member of the executive.

Development

We would ask as many members as possible to join the Development Donation scheme, at this current time our only revenue is the scheme and membership. Anyone wishing to pay membership or join the Donation Scheme please contact any committee member.
