Mount Sion GAA Club Notes

Senior League

A large crowd was present in Cleaboy on Thursday evening as the Seniors made the short visit to take on neighbours Roanmore, a thrilling game saw Sion edge the game by a point to continue their positive progress in the league, well done to all involved, next game is against Abbeyside at home on Friday , throw in 7-30pm.

Deise Draw

This year’s Deise Draw starts in July, there are six draws in total with the club benefitting from every ticket sold, tickets are available from all the usual sources and from Club Co-ordinator Kenny Stafford.

Darts Night

A night of darts with Dave “Chizzy” Chisnall – PDC professional darts player “Game On” Chizzy will take place in the club on Friday June 7th, organised in aid of cystic fibrosis, Dave will try his luck against the local talent and play some exhibition darts, tickets are available on ticketstop.

Camogie

Our Under 14 girls played De La Salle in the championship lduring the week, a great game was had despite the score line, thanks to Karen Roberts and The Hive for their very generous sponsorship of our fabulous new jerseys,

Well done also to our Under 12 girls who participated in a grading blitz on Saturday morning, there were some fantastic displays on a beautiful sunny morning. Thanks to all the coaches and parents for their support.
