Keith O’Connor Benefit Night
The Keith O’Connor Benefit Committee is pleased to present the legendary Brass & Co. with support band and new sensation Rumblefish with a comedy interlude provided by Geriatrics at Mount Sion Club next Saturday 19th February starting at 9pm.Under 7 & 8s
Over the last two Saturdays, both our Under 7 teams took part in indoor hurling and football blitzes in the new Ballygunner indoor arena. They played some tough games against such opponents as Ballygunner, De La Salle, Sacred Heart, Gaultier, Ferrybank and St. Saviours. The next two Saturdays sees the Under 8s take part in the same style blitzes. Best of luck to all the young boys.
Under 10
Kilmacud Crokes from Dublin travelled down on Sunday morning to play a challenge game in the club before the National League game of Waterford and Dublin. Just a word of thanks for Kilmacud for travelling down for a good and sporting match.
Under 11
The Under 11s were invited to play at half time of the National League meeting of Waterford and Dublin last Sunday in Walsh Park. This is part of the Give Respect, Get Respect initiative of the Gaa. It included some boys, girls and Foreign Nationals to show inclusitivity.
Membership
The deadline for this years membership is soon approaching, so if any members have not paid their membership can they please contact our Registrar Paul Fanning on 086-1724807 or membership monies can be left behind the bar. Everyone is asked to make a special effort to pay as soon as possible. Membership rates are as follows: Hurling & Football – €50; Family – €50; Student – €20 and Social €15.
