Last Man Standing
Last Man Standing returns to Mount Sion for the remainder of the 2018/19 season, cost is €10 to enter and players have one life, for example one loss and your’e out, team selection has to be given in to Owen Sauvage before the first game of the weekend otherwise you will be given the first team alphabetically. You can leave your name, entry fee and mobile number at the bar before Wednesday. The prize is €500 for the winner, normal Last Man Standing Rules apply. First round is the weekend of the 2nd March. All money raised goes towards the running of the hurling and football club.Operation Transformation
The final walk of this year’s Operation transformation takes place on Thursday night at 7pm, this has been a very successful event since the New Year and credit must go to the event organisers Michael Power and Tina Gleeson whose hard work made it possible every week,thanks also to everyone who turned up in big numbers whatever the weather and we look forward to seeing a big crowd again on Thursday, on the final night there will be a bucket collection at registration with all proceeds going to the Solas centre.National League
Waterford’s final National League group game takes place in Walsh Park next Sunday against Galway and with parking restrictions around the ground we encourage members to park on the club grounds where there is ample and safe parking, best of luck to Paraic and his team as they look to go into the quarter finals on a winning note.Registration

Camogie training continues this week with the Under 12’s back on Tuesdays in the Presentation Hall 6-7pm with the Under 8’s on Mondays from 6-7 in the Carrickpherish hall.Juvenile Academy
The Mount Sion Juvenile Academy is back up and running in the school yard on Saturday mornings for our youngest hurlers from 4 years and upwards, new players are always welcome and our coaches would be delighted to see them, for details please contact Peter Walsh.Ladies Football
Training for Ladies Football continues on Fridays at 5-45 with players on the pitch for 6-7, this year we will be fielding two teams at both Minor and Under 16 levels and girls between 15 and 18 are always welcome to join our squads, just call up any Friday to meet the girls and their trainers.Mount Sion Clubhouse
